In this video, Professor Dr Josef Wieland, Dr Julika Baumann Montecinos and ZU student Melanie Weiser look back at the highlights of the Transcultural Leadership Summit 2020. They reflect on how the topic of the summit is related to current challenges and why it is important to deal with "New Silk Roads – New Perspectives for Europe?”.
For the fifth year in a row, the Leadership Excellence Institute Zeppelin (LEIZ) at Zeppelin University, together with a student organisation team headed by LEIZ Director Josef Wieland, brought together high-ranking experts from business, politics, civil society and academia to discuss the challenges and opportunities of global cooperation.
Under the title “New Silk Roads – New Perspectives for Europe?”, the two-day international online conference offered not only economic and geopolitical perspectives on the new Silk Roads, but also historical, cultural and philosophical approaches.
The congress was supported by the main sponsor Rolls-Royce Power Systems as well as by Zeppelin Universitätsgesellschaft, Buchhandlung und Café Gessler 1862 and ZU’s Student Lounge. The technical realisation was conducted by bewegtbildwerft, Überlingen.
