Dr Lennart Brand, Managing Director of the Leadership Excellence Institute Zeppelin | LEIZ, and Dr Julika Montecinos, head of the LEIZ research group, “Transcultural Competence”, were invited by the Lotus Learning Foundation to attend their panels on “Education for Transformation” in the context of the World Economic Forum 2020 in Davos. The event was hosted by the Director of the Lotus Learning Foundation, Archish Mittal.
The debate in Davos focussed upon the transformative potential education can unlock, especially – but by no means only – in emerging-market countries. Representing a private university, Dr Brand’s and Dr Montecinos’ chief interest was the role of private education in transforming societies through transcultural cross-border educational collaboration.
