Under the working title “Quo Vadis Compliance? Digitalisation – Corporate Criminal Law – Values Management” the 40th session of Forum Compliance & Integrity has been held at BASF SE in Ludwigshafen on November 29th/30th.
The historic BASF-owned Gesellschaftshaus served as a delightful frame for the opening address given by Manuela Mackert, speaker of the FCI, and Professor Dr Josef Wieland, founder and chair of the FCI, as well as for the after-dinner speech on “Digital Change and Automation: Legal and Ethical Perspectives“ given by Professor Dr Dr Udo Di Fabio.
From 1999 until 2011 Di Fabio served as judge at the Federal Constiutional Court. Since 1993 he has been Professor for Public Law at Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Bonn. Furthermore, Di Fabio chairs the Ethics Commission on Automated and Networked Driving at the Federal Ministry for Transport and Digital Infrastructure.
The Forum Compliance & Integrity positions and defines itself as a voluntary body of companies, associations and institutions with the primary goal of promoting the creation and dissemination of recognised standards of good compliance and integrity managements in companies, associations and bodies of the state.
