Initiated by the German Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, Dr Gerd Müller in 2014, the Partnership for Sustainable Textiles is a multi-stakeholder initiative with about 150 members from business, politics and civil society. Their common goal is to achieve social, ecological and economic improvements along the textile supply chain. LEIZ-Director Prof Josef Wieland who has been an expert in the field of compliance and business ethics for more than 20 years, will henceforth act as one of several mediators who will be tasked with resolving cases of conflict.
