On February 15th, 2018, the Interdisciplinary Centre for Compliance, Integrity and Law |CIL will hold a symposium on “Compliance and Integrity Management in the Context of Digital Transformation (IT-Compliance and Cyber-Security)”. The event will be hosted by the Director if the Leadership Excellence Institute Zeppelin | LEIZ, Prof Josef Wieland, and the Director of the Institute for Compliance und Corporate Law of the German Graduate School for Management and Law, Prof Martin Schulz.
Speakers from academia, the legal profession, and the world of business will present and discuss the challenges which businesses, their leaders and stakeholders, the legal profession, and the justice system need to address vis-à-vis the digital transformation of business, society, and the state. Among the issues to be discussed are: IT compliance management, IT security and crisis management, critical-infrastructure compliance, and chemical compliance.
The event has been especially devised for lawyers, company solicitors, compliance managers, risk managers, and corporate leaders. It is part of a conference series offered by the Interdisciplinary Centre for Compliance, Integrity and Law |CIL. The series, which commenced in July 2016 with a symposium on „Compliance and Integrity Management in Global Value Chains”, will consist of two events per year, covering a variety of compliance-related topics.
The Interdisciplinary Centre for Compliance, Integrity and Law |CIL is a joint project of the Leadership Excellence Institute Zeppelin| LEIZ and the German Graduate School of Management & Law (GGS). It is headed by LEIZ-Director Prof Josef Wieland and the Director of GGS’ Institute for Compliance und Corporate Law, Prof Martin Schulz.
