LEIZ is very pleased to announce that the renowned social psychologist Prof Alice Eagly from Northwestern University (USA) has given a lecture at Zeppelin University. Professor Alice Eagly was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Carmen Tanner, and her lecture “Women as Leaders: How Are They Faring?“ was received with great enthusiasm by a full-to-capacity Blackbox lecture theatre.
Prof Alice Eagly is one of the most famous researchers in the world on the issues of gender, feminism, attitudes, prejudices, stereotypes and leadership. Her lecture covered the topic of women in management positions with regard to social psychological aspects and further academic studies. The many findings from the current period of observation were very interesting and informative. After the lecture, students and staff of the ZU were able to put their questions to Prof Alice Eagly. Everyone present was in agreement that the charming and engaging social psychologist, who currently holds a guest professorship at the University of Zürich, had left a lasting impression.
