As part of a class by Prof Dr. Carmen Tanner, the renowned neuroscientist was invited to speak at the ZU. He spoke about behaviour and perception of people from neuroscience perspectives and shed some light on contexts and consequences for the significance of leadership in companies.
Prof. Dr. Dr. Gerhard Roth is a bestselling author and professor for behavioural physiology and developmental neurobiology at the University of Bremen. Since 1989 he has been Director of the Institute for Neurological Research at the University of Bremen. Between 1997 and 2008 Professor Roth was Founding Director of the Hanse Wissenschaftskolleg or Institute for Advanced Study in Delmenhorst near Bremen. From 2003 to 2011 he was President of the German National Academic Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes). He was awarded the Bundesverdienstkreuz or Federal Cross of Merit in 2011 for his scientific work.
