In a ceremony held on February 7th, 2017, Prof Carmen Tanner received the ZU| Teaching Award from Lars Hagenlocher, student senator of Zeppelin University, for her Master’s course on "Behavioural Business Ethics: Dishonesty in Business" in Fall Semester 2016/2017. In his laudation, Lars Hagenlocher pointed out that her course was nominated by students and selected by the jury for its excellent teaching design and -implementation. Prof Carmen Tanner replied by expressing her joy about the Award: "To me, this is the Oscar!" She particularly thanked her students whose dedication and commitment is a pre-condition for a successful class: "This award tells me that I am succeeding in sharing my own enthusiasm with my students.“ Prof Tanner who holds the Chair of Economic Psychology and Leadership Ethics, joined the Leadership Excellence Institute Zeppelin | LEIZ in 2015. In the context of Behavioural Business Ethics, her research focuses on Moral Intelligence and on questions of (dis)honesty.
