Transcultural Leadership Summit
On October 14th and 15th, 2016 the first Transcultural Leadership Summit, hosted by the Leadership Excellence Institute Zeppelin | LEIZ, will take place at Zeppelin University. This year the Summit will focus on China.
Global value creation, cross-border innovation and global HR are some of the topics that define the increasingly complex challenges of leading a business in today’s world. To meet these, corporations and their leaders need to develop the willingness to cooperate, the capacity to define globally shared values and the ability to formulate cultural commonalities.
The concept of transculturality which, at its most basic, emphasizes the recognition and relation of cultural differences and similarities, will contribute to the development of industry-wide solutions, to daily practice of organizations, and to developing globally leading executives. TLS is a summit designed for both the conceptualization of new challenges of leadership and the interdisciplinary exchange of leading executives from diverse backgrounds. Dr. Stefan Sommer (CEO, ZF Friedrichshafen AG), Dr. Dahai Yu (fomer board member of Evonik Industries AG and first Chinese board member of a German DAX listed corporation) and Marcus A. Wassenberg (CFO, Rolls Royce Power Systems AG) are among the renowned speakers.
The Transcultural Leadership Summit represents an information platform to deepen participants’ cultural knowledge and foster mutual understanding with its unique feature of an annually changing country focus.
