Alumni Event Barcelona:
A long weekend full of exchange, inspiration, and exciting insights: Alumni in Town brings former ZU students together in major European cities. In Barcelona, you can look forward to company visits, panel talks, and cultural highlights – combined with plenty of space for networking and shared experiences.
What to expect:
- Academia meets metropolis: Engaging panels with perspectives from business, culture, and politics
- Experience innovation: Visits to companies shaping the future between Gaudí and AI
- Culinary & community: Tapas, paella & great conversations in a relaxed atmosphere
- For alumni with an international background and residence: Through our DAAD project, we’re awarding up to 10 travel scholarships

DAAD Travel Grant for international ALumni
The AiT event in Barcelona is part of ZU’s funding project 'Reframing Cultural Legacies' within the DAAD funding line 'Advanced Training for International Alumni – Cross-cutting Alumni Activities to Improve Cooperation among International Alumni'. As part of the funding, up to 10 international alumni from industrialized countries can receive a subsidy for travel and accommodation in Barcelona (94 EUR per diem for 4 days including arrival and departure days, plus a 300 EUR travel allowance).
