Online - Free and open to all – Speaker a. o. Dr. Kilian Seng (zu | Head of Research Methodology Training Centre)
This roundtable, which is held in conjunction with the Methods School summer programme, from ecpr (European Consortium for Political Research), brings together a panel of experts to address some of the myriad questions about the implications of ChatGPT and similar AI models for academic work in political science.
Its primary focus is to
contemplate the extent to which ChatGPT can help researchers and teachers to be
more productive, while also considering the contentious notion of banning its
academic use. The discussion further explores the domains where ChatGPT can be
valuable in pedagogy, and how one can ensure the responsible use of AI among
students and teachers.
