Innovate with Social Impact Webinar am 30. November
Interessierte Promovierende und Postdocs können mit uns digital einen Blick auf die SDGs werfen und erforschen, welche potenziellen Wirkungsfelder die eigene Forschung aufweist. Sie lernen und diskutieren den Ansatz von Social Entrepreneurship. Und sie treffen auf eine Vertreterin und ein Social-Start-up der Initiative Making More Health, die es sich zum Ziel gemacht hat, global „Lösungen für eine gesündere und nachhaltigere Zukunft“ zu schaffen, vor allem durch die Förderung sozialer Start-ups in Subsahara-Afrika.
Workshop Goals
- Einführung in das Konzept der Wirkung und der SDGs
- Die potenziellen Wirkungsbereiche Deiner Forschung
- Terminologie, Konzepte und Geschäftsmodelle: Was ist Social Media? Unternehmertum?
- Networking und Q&A mit Social Entrepreneurs

What impact would you like to create with your research? How can entrepreneurs synergise social responsibility and financial interests? By looking at the golden circle framework, this workshop focuses on the WHY behind your work. We will also look behind the broad meaning of social entrepreneurship, reflect on our personal understanding and give practical examples of careers and concepts in these sectors.
You will meet role models presented by Making More Health – an initiative driven by Boehringer Ingelheim with the aim of improving global health.
Who we are
Young Entrepreneurs in Science is an interactive workshop programme for PhDs and postdocs to help you ignite your entrepreneurial spirit! Together with your peers, you will learn methods and skills to realise your innovative potential. Admission is free and no previous knowledge is required.
