As meta-analysis is gaining wider acceptance in all fields of economic and social research as well as public policy evaluation, in general, important issues of its application, meaning and methodology naturally arise.
By providing a platform for exchange we want to shed light on the new areas meta-analysis can be used in and enable the participants to intensify their own endeavors.
The MAER-Net Colloquium will introduce the necessary meta-analytic methods to those participants new to the field, outline what has been learned about economics and international development through meta-regression, apply meta-analysis to international development, and discuss many of the relevant policy and business implications.
The Colloquium is also open for SPE and CME students (BA and MA) in Fall 2017 under 'Selected Topics I Meta-Analysis in Economis & Social Science'.
The conference will take place from October 12 to 14, 2017, at Zeppelin University.
The venue will be host to about 60 researches and scholars from all over the world to have interdisciplinary discussions and listen to around 40 presentations.
Not only researchers, but also students and company representatives are cordially invited.
Interdisciplinary scholars from around the world participate regularly in the annual colloquia of the Meta-Analysis of Economics Research Network (MAER-Net), which is an international network of scholars committed to improving economic and social sciences through meta-analysis.
