Since 1993 Women for Women International is helping
women who have survived a war to build a new life. The organisation has been
working in Afghanistan since 2002 and recently published a study on the role of
women under the Taliban. After giving their lecture the day before, we are
excited to listen to their experiences in international advocacy work. How does
international advocacy for women´s rights work? Which organisations and
institutions are relevant? Who are the main actors to talk with?
We are very much looking forward to welcoming two
representatives of them here at the lake and getting our burning questions
answered.
