Social Responsibility for Sustainable Business
What is justice and what are its functions in economic systems? How do we assign responsibility in globalized markets and societies? This lecture will provide a basic overview of social ethical discernment by exploring core principles such as subsidiarity, solidarity and sustainability and applying them on business conditions. Ethical guidelines will be examined as to their relevance, their potential and their limits, focusing exemplary social conflicts and selected theories they provoked.
