By critically examining theoretical foundations and empirical evidence of development administration, the course seeks to provide students with an understanding of the process of generating social, economic and political change in developing countries and transitional economies.
The class is geared to the theoretical and empirical examination of how policy, program and community-level intervention can be employed to promote 'good governance' and address economic, political and managerial development challenges.
