Zeppelin University gGmbH is in the hands of a private responsible body, namely the „Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Bildung und Wissenschaft mbH“ („Association for the Promotion of Education and Science“). The partners of this association include, among others, the two founding companies of the Zeppelin Foundation, namely Zeppelin GmbH and ZF Friedrichshafen AG, as well as Max Weishaupt GmbH. They have guaranteed for the overall financing in writing towards the Ministry of Science and the Arts in Baden-Württemberg. Thus, the partners have shown an unusual as well as impressive commitment, which can be considered unique in Germany.
