Chair for Public Law, Philosophy of Law & Media Law | Profile

The chair for Public Law, Philosophy of Law and Media Law conveys the fundamentals of the legal system of the Federal Republic of Germany to students of Zeppelin University in the foundation phase of their studies. Special focus is upon the formation of law as well as its philosophical foundation and its thinkers within the framework of the teaching of legal methods.
A further focus of teaching is the consolidation of fundamentals of jurisprudence with a special connection to the particular program in the following semesters.
Special attention is paid to economic law, especially trade and corporation law in the program Corporate Management & Economics .

The program Communication & Cultural Management focuses upon the areas of communication and media law, whereby telemedia law and press law, especially in relation to constitutional law provisions, are in the foreground.

Public and administrative law is the subject of legal training within the framework of the program Public Management & Governance. Aside from constitutional law and fundamental rights, especially general and special administrative law (building law, municipal law, police law, public property law, administrative litigation law, regulation law, PPP) are taught in the courses.
