Scholarships | The HypoVereinsbank Project Scholarship

The Idea

In addition to the purely subject-related studies, studying at Zeppelin University is characterized by the possibility to gain practical experience in one’s own projects. Many students design projects that have a regional focus as well as address social issues: examples of the last months have included the project in cooperation with Ashoka dealing with the promotion of the social commitment of high-school students, day care on Saturdays by students for parents who would like to go shopping together or homework assistance for children with a migrational background.

The Support

The HypoVereinsbank Project Scholarship aims to support one social project of a student or a group of students with a sum of 2,000 € per year.

The Procedure

By September 30 of each year, students of all departments and all semesters can submit a two-page concept draft of their social projects. The scholarship board of Zeppelin University chooses five projects from those that have been handed in. These five are then presented to the HypoVereinsbank scholarship committee in a special meeting at the end of October. The project which from the perspective of the jury has the biggest impact and the highest regional relevance should be chosen.
