Zeppelin University stands for excellence in teaching and research in the fields of Communication and Cultural Studies, Economics and Politics. Hence, we select our future students very carefully. Though we do acknowledge your performance in high school, we do not believe that your grades tell us all about you and your aspirations for the future. We want to get to know you a little better than that. Thus, we apply a comprehensive selection process including a detailed online application, personal interviews, subject-related tests and a case study.
Our Selection Process: Subjective and Fair
When selecting future students for our Master programs, we do not apply a set list of criteria that each successful applicant has to fulfill. Rather, we consider the strengths and weaknesses, the motivation and aspirations of the individual. In other words, we apply a subjective (or holistic) approach to our student selection. Thereby, aspects such as age, gender, ethnic background, religious affiliation or sexual orientation do not play a role.
"The selection process at Zeppelin University was for me just like the place itself: creative, disturbing and again and again challenging to self-reflection.
The impression that the selection days provide is this: here people deal with themselves and the world exploratively, with knowledge as well as non-knowledge critically and creatively."
