Admission Requirements


The requirements for admission to the ZU Master Programs are


1. Proof of the general qualification for university entrance (for german students: Allgemeine/fachgebundene Hochschulreife)


2. Bachelor´s degree or its equivalent from an accredited or equivalently approved college, university, or technical school.

For applicants from China, Mongolia and Vietnam:
Please be aware that Zeppelin University needs a certificate of the “Akademische Prüfstelle” (APS) of the german embassy in Beijing, Ulan Bator or Hà Nội. For more information please visit the embassy webpage.


3. Language Requirements

All Master Programs at Zeppelin University are bilingual: The first two semesters are in English and the last two are in English and German.
All applicants need to provide evidence of the following qualifications:

Either the TOEFL or the IELTS:
TOEFL: Overall score of 90 (internet-based)
ZU TOEFL Code: 8966 (or you may send certified copies of your results)
IELTS: Overall score of 6.5

| German

Applicants from outside German speaking countries need to provide evidence of the following German language qualifications (one of the following):

TestDaf 3-4
Goethe Institut Mittlerstufe 1
Europäische Skala B2


Please note that your language certificates (TOEFL, IELTS, TestDAF etc.) have to arrive at Zeppelin University at the latest two weeks before the start of your studies (generally on August 15). Exceptions cannot be granted.
